Children today have a lot to learn and a lot to cope with. Over the last few years there has been a significant change in the mental health of our children. This has been studied recently and lots of schools have now started to include mental health in their curriculum, most specifically in the use of mindfulness or using a growth mindset. This sounds great to me but do the other adults in children’s lives understand what they are doing and how they can help at home? How do we know if the children are actually learning anything at all from this?
